Welcome to Children and Family!

Children and Family in the Northern Inner City consists of five units; reception for children and youth, three investigation units, and foster care and family law.

Our area of operation is led by a district manager and the five unit managers. The operation also includes a mentor/method supporter.

Your role as a mentor/method supporter

As a mentor/method supporter, you are responsible for the introduction of new caseworkers in the operation and serve as mentor support for investigating social workers as needed. You are available as corridor support regarding documentation within social systems. You are the area's BBIC coordinator and responsible for internal training in BBIC based on the needs of the operation.

In your role, you are also responsible for staying updated on new legislation and other factors affecting the area of operation. Together with the management team, you will develop and implement the area's quality and management system based on the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations, which includes revising/developing routines for the operation and conducting internal controls.

Your work also aims to facilitate and create conditions for the operation to implement evidence-based practice, and you actively work to implement the methods and approaches we have chosen to focus on.

You work on behalf of the district manager and management team, and you have an active role in the development work of the operations based on prioritized areas. The tasks may vary according to the needs of the operation. You lead the work in the area's development and quality group on behalf of the management team.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for you who have;

  • Degree in Social Work
  • Several years of relevant experience in working with child and youth investigations within social services.
  • Training in and experience of working with BBIC support
  • Training in and experience of working with Signs of Safety support
  • Very good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish.

It is an advantage if you:

  • Have experience of similar tasks
  • Have experience in other areas of public authority regarding children and youth
  • Other relevant further education such as SAVRY/ADAD/EARL/MI
