Eatery Sverige AB operates concept restaurants for food and meetings with a local touch. Currently, there are 16 restaurants and conference venues from Åre in the north to Malmö in the south (owned and franchised). In 2023, Eatery Garden opened at Arlanda, which is a variant of the concept. We also have our corporate restaurants, such as Social Kitchen, operated in collaboration with Schibstedt. Eatery serves between 5000 and 6000 guests daily.

We are now looking for a Head Waiter/Team Leader for Eatery Garden, which opened in September 2024 in northern Stockholm at the Voco hotel. VOCO Hotels is a four-star hotel primarily catering to business guests for accommodation and conference packages during the week. Private guests are offered various weekend and spa package deals. In addition to our restaurant and bar, the hotel features a lounge, gym, spa area with a sun terrace, and a full-scale gym.

About You

For this role, we are looking for someone with a strong interest and knowledge of food and beverages, who is also driven by the desire to provide the best possible service to our guests. You are flexible, responsible, and solution-focused in your work approach, and you have a financial mindset. As a leader, you are an inspiring role model. The pace in our restaurants can often be high, and the work requires you to be stress-resistant.

Your Responsibilities

Your primary role as a Head Waiter at Eatery is to ensure that our guests have a fantastic experience when they visit us. This means constantly focusing on the guests, welcoming and acknowledging each guest, being attentive and helpful, and professionally addressing the guests' requests! You assist guests to their tables, present the menu, serve food and drinks, and provide excellent service throughout their visit.

As a Head Waiter, you are responsible for the head waiter role, greeting all guests, checking bookings, and assisting guests to their tables/activities/other. You are alert, cheerful, and welcoming to all guests in a friendly manner, guiding them into the restaurant based on their purpose for visiting.

You will also be responsible for staff management on-site when the restaurant manager is not present, as well as responding to the hotel, which is our largest client.

Working hours are scheduled according to the restaurant's opening hours.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of serving experience. The position is a permanent part-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon. A probationary period applies during the first six months. Working hours will follow Eatery Garden's opening hours with varying shifts.
