1st Chef for Event Venue on Strandvägen

Do you enjoy events and venues? We specialize in parties and organize everything from weddings to concerts and corporate events. On our two boats, we host around 200 events annually and place great emphasis on our kitchen, which we want to maintain at a high standard.

Charm Charter is an event and charter company where one vessel has a banquet hall for 120 people and the other is a yacht with space for 30 people. Our guests rent the boats exclusively and decide where and when we go, so working hours will vary.

Who are you?

You have previous experience in banquets or event venues.

You have many years in the industry with a broad foundation to stand on.

You find it easy to work with others, are always on time, and take pride in your profession and the food you prepare.

You handle both Swedish and English at a good level and can communicate with other staff in both languages.

Your Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility

You, along with the other kitchen staff, will plan, prep, and execute dinners for up to 120 guests. The kitchen team consists of a total of 4 chefs.

All groups eat the same dishes, and everything is pre-booked well in advance.

As our bookings are primarily in the evenings and on weekends, that is where most of the working hours will be.

As you work on a vessel in operation, you will also be trained onboard and undergo the necessary safety training to be certified as a deckhand and understand and perform the safety tasks assigned to you.

Qualifications and Skills

• Confident in both your role as a chef and in yourself
• You are cheerful and positive, contributing good energy!
• Good knowledge of hygiene and allergens
• Collaborative but self-sufficient in your own work
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• You are used to working in a fast-paced environment, both in your own work and together with the team.

Setup/Salary

Full-time from May to the end of September.

Monthly salary of 40,000 SEK with the possibility of vacation in July.

Start Date

By mid-May at the latest, but can be flexible for the right person.
