At Vikariepoolen, we are looking for kitchen assistants for work in preschools and schools in the Stockholm area during the spring term. As a substitute kitchen assistant, you play an important role in ensuring the operation runs smoothly when a regular staff member is absent. The tasks are the usual ones in school kitchens and preschool kitchens, helping with serving, salad preparation, simple cooking, dishwashing, and cleaning. In larger kitchens, you will be part of a team, while working alone is common in preschools.

Your knowledge, curiosity, and commitment make a difference. To succeed in the role, it is important that you are good at collaborating and can plan your own work. It is also important to be able to see what needs to be done and take initiative.

We are looking for someone who has completed a restaurant and food program or similar education and has experience working in preschool kitchens, school kitchens, or equivalent large kitchens. It is particularly important that you have good knowledge of safe food handling. Additionally, you should have good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
