About Vallentuna Friskola

Vallentuna Friskola is an independent school for grades 6-9 that was established in 2002 and currently has about 240 students and over 30 employees.

At Vallentuna Friskola, we have high expectations for our students. Our well-educated and experienced teachers work to provide students with high-quality education in a safe learning environment. Our common goal is for all students at Vallentuna Friskola to acquire good knowledge, feel secure, and develop into active, creative, competent, and responsible individuals. We highly value good relationships with students, collaboration with guardians, and work diligently to ensure that each student reaches their full potential.

Vallentuna Friskola offers a developing and exciting workplace where we collectively engage in systematic quality work. Since the school year 21/22, we have been working with the Olweus program, which consists of a series of coordinated, research-based measures aimed at creating a school environment where students can learn, thrive, and feel safe. In addition to safety, we also work systematically and collaboratively to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.

We use the school platform Schoolsoft, and each subject creates planning and assignments in Google Classroom. All students have their own Chromebook.

Vallentuna Friskola is located at Lars Hårds Väg 20B, featuring spacious classrooms, dedicated special education rooms, and a fantastic schoolyard close to a forest with exercise trails.
