JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Elderly and Health and Care Administration is Sweden's largest municipal health and care provider. Our ambition is to develop the future of care and social services. We are now looking for nurses for the summer who want to work closely with patients and have a lot of freedom.

Your tasks include planning and structuring work for individual patients and their relatives. You assess and perform medical treatment and care interventions, which you also follow up and document according to applicable legislation and our quality registers. You collaborate in interdisciplinary teams and always have friendly colleagues to consult when needed. We offer a good introduction with shadowing and ongoing advice as well as the exchange of skills with colleagues from different professions. Working hours are primarily during the day, but some work is scheduled for evenings and weekends. Alternatively, you can work only nights in one of our four night teams. We offer you a varied job where you have the opportunity to meet people with different needs at various ages. Due to our size, we can offer many different career paths and there are good opportunities for further work or temporary positions even after the summer.

Our offer to you as a licensed nurse includes:

• Individual base salary based on experience and competence.
• Salary supplement of 12,000 SEK per month. Applies to those working full-time during weeks 26-33. The supplement is fully paid for full-time work. For less than full-time work, the supplement is paid in proportion to the employment rate.
• Hourly paid substitutes receive an increase in their individually set hourly wage of an additional 72.72 SEK/hour.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience in the profession and in our areas of operation is an advantage, but we also welcome newly graduated nurses. A driver's license is advantageous and in most areas necessary since you will need to travel to different patients by car.

We place great importance on a good attitude. For us, this means that you have respect for both patients, relatives, and colleagues, and that you show commitment to your work. You enjoy working with people and focus on the individual. You thrive in teamwork and contribute to good collaboration with colleagues and other professionals you meet in your work. Furthermore, you approach your tasks responsibly and can independently overview, prioritize, and perform your tasks or consult with your colleagues to move forward.

We have four city areas in Gothenburg: Hisingen, Sydväst, Centrum, and Nordost; you can easily choose in your application which areas you are interested in.
