Description

The Psychiatric Services have, as one of the few services in the country, child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry gathered under a common operations manager. This facilitates and enables rapid information transfer, promotes collaboration, and increases the possibility of short decision-making paths. We have a long tradition of collaboration with the municipalities in which we operate. We have three Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) clinics within the Psychiatric Services at Kungälv Hospital. In Stenungsund, we receive children and adolescents from the municipalities of Stenungsund and Tjörn.

Within BUP, annual working hours are applied, which allows for flexible work throughout the year. We offer good opportunities for professional development, continuous supervision, and the possibility of specialization.

The team consists of senior physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, and medical secretaries. We also have access to speech therapy resources within the organization. The operations are characterized by high competence and a high degree of collaboration and are conducted from a transdisciplinary perspective.

With us, the doors are open, both for collegial support and for sharing laughter. We have common coffee breaks and enjoy having fun together. Stenungsund can offer pleasant outdoor lunches by the dock and the opportunity for a swim in the sea year-round. The clinic is centrally located near train and bus stations.

Responsibilities

Assessment, investigation, and treatment work with children, adolescents, and their families. The work is done in teams but also independently. The work also includes collaboration with schools, social services, habilitation, pediatric medicine, and other agencies around children and families.

Qualifications

Licensed psychologist. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in working with children, adolescents, and their families. It is an advantage if you have previously worked with children and adolescents, preferably with neuropsychiatric issues.

We value qualities such as good social competence where humor, initiative, and positive thinking are clear advantages. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and qualities such as good collaboration skills and the ability to work independently.

Other

We require a criminal record extract from all who are offered employment within the Psychiatric Services.
