About Us
The Betaniahemmet Association has simplified the everyday lives of people with disabilities since 1905, providing the support they need. Every day, we work to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
As an employee with us, you will be an important resource in making a difference in the lives of others.
We are also unique in the industry as our association operates entirely without profit motives. As an employee, you will help create a sustainable association with an established brand in the Gothenburg area.
About the Position
The health and medical care team currently consists of three nurses and one occupational therapist.
We are now looking for a part-time physiotherapist to join our team as our current physiotherapist is moving on to other assignments. Perhaps you are currently working part-time for another employer and would like to fill your time with us?
In the role of physiotherapist, you will collaborate closely with the occupational therapist, nurses, managers, support educators, and method supervisors.
The health and medical care team works Monday to Friday, and the job offers you good opportunities to plan and structure your workday in dialogue with your colleagues, based on the needs of the organization. You will also have good opportunities to follow the results of your patients' rehabilitation and habilitation over time. Our office is located in Askim, from where you will operate.
The work is performed in the user's home, which may be a group home or service apartment, as well as in daily activities. You will assess, evaluate, implement, and follow up on physiotherapeutic interventions, as well as be responsible for prescribing and fitting assistive devices.
As a licensed practitioner, you will also be responsible for documenting the interventions that are planned, implemented, and evaluated. We use Welfare (Alfa e-care) as our journal system.
You will guide staff in various care/rehab/habilitation situations, such as in everyday situations, transfers, and handling assistive devices. You will also be proactive, coordinate, and train in our transfer training and basic equipment training together with the occupational therapist.
Your Profile
You are a licensed physiotherapist authorized to practice within Swedish health care. We prefer that you have experience working as a physiotherapist in municipal health care.
Experience working with the target group within LSS category 1 is an advantage.
Experience and knowledge in manual transfers and transfers using patient lifts are also advantageous, as is supervisor training.
You are familiar with IT-based journal systems and have the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
Our team-based working method requires you to be flexible, responsible, and good at collaborating. You also need to have a good ability to independently structure and organize your tasks.
We place great importance on personal suitability.
Conditions
A B driver's license is required for the position.
Before any job offer, we need a criminal record extract from the police.
