About the Role and Your Responsibilities

Do you want to help develop students' mathematical abilities and create a positive learning environment? Killebäckskolan is now looking for a dedicated and creative special education teacher in mathematics for a full-time position.

As a special education teacher at Killebäckskolan, you will work with modern and tailored teaching to meet each student's needs. Together with classroom teachers and the school's student health team, you will plan and conduct educational assessments, establish action plans, and individual development plans to ensure that each student receives the support they need to develop both academically and personally.

You will teach students in need of special support and adapt the teaching according to each student's prerequisites and interests. You will plan, implement, and evaluate your work based on the school's governing documents and the students' needs. Together with other school staff, you will create a safe and developing learning and working environment for both students and staff.

We Are Looking for You

We are looking for someone who has a degree and certification as a primary school teacher in mathematics for the relevant grades, as well as further education as a special education teacher. You have experience working with students in need of special support and possess a strong ability to adapt teaching to meet their individual needs. Furthermore, you have a great commitment to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with students, guardians, and colleagues.

About the Workplace

Killebäckskolan, located in the picturesque Södra Sandby, is a school for grades 4-9 with approximately 470 students. After a comprehensive renovation in 2010, the school has modern and bright facilities that create an inspiring environment for both learning and well-being.
