Schenker AB is now looking for a Team Leader for our night shift (22:00-07:00. The workweek starts Sunday evening and ends Friday morning) at our terminal in Almnäs, Södertälje. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of good leadership and is driven to motivate others.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and distribute work based on work methods, processes, and reporting routines.

* Personnel responsibility including development discussions, staffing, skills development, and rehabilitation discussions.

* Develop cooperation with other departments and units.

* Follow up on established goals related to economy, quality, and productivity.

* Address deficiencies and deviations within the unit and report to the superior manager.

* Apply guidelines according to Systematic Work Environment Management (SAM).

* Ensure that the equipment for physical goods handling is maintained and serviced according to plan.

Your Profile:

To succeed in this role, you need to have a positive attitude towards collaboration, service, and quality. You enjoy working in a team but can also work independently. You are goal-oriented, take initiative, and have good analytical skills with a scrutinizing and driving work approach. Furthermore, you are methodical, structured, well-organized, enjoy a fast pace, and are passionate about leadership. The work involves a lot of problem-solving, which places high demands on you to solve problems calmly and methodically.

We are looking for someone who:

* Has several years of leadership experience, preferably in the logistics industry

* Has education at least at the high school level

* Master Swedish and English very well in speech and writing

* Has good knowledge of MS Office and preferably experience working with other business systems

* Is good at building relationships and is a responsible person who can take initiative.

* Has a natural talent for leadership and can engage and inspire your team. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences, and great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

The position is a full-time position with a six-month probationary period starting by agreement.
