About the Workplace
Rydebäcksskolan is a F-9 school located about ten kilometers south of Helsingborg. Currently, the school has approximately 920 students. The school primarily features newly built and renovated facilities, creating fantastic opportunities for pedagogical development. Job Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include coaching, guiding, and inspiring our students to help them achieve high levels of goal fulfillment. You will work closely with engaged educators at the school and be part of a work team. Mentorship responsibilities are also included in the job.
It is natural for you to follow research and development and incorporate it into your teaching. Your knowledge promotes creative and inclusive learning environments. Digital tools are used in teaching, and it is important that you recognize the potential of digitalization and utilize it.
To enhance goal fulfillment and social cohesion, we work with cooperative learning, and you will be an important part of this effort.
Qualifications
We are primarily looking for someone who has a teaching license and is qualified to teach grades 7-9 in English. The position is a temporary role for the autumn term of 2025 due to parental leave. Life experience is a plus, and we are interested in both newly graduated individuals and those in the later stages of their education, as well as those with experience. You take responsibility for your teaching but also contribute to the overall development of the school's pedagogical operations. You are a clear and structured leader with good pedagogical skills in teaching. For you, it is natural to collaborate with your colleagues to create a cohesive thread throughout all grades of primary school. You share all planning and assessment with experienced colleagues.
You show interest, respect, and understanding for others. You see differences as an asset and want to reach everyone's unique circumstances. You create good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Your values reflect the school's curriculum, and you have a genuine belief that all people can and want to develop both academically and socially.
It is also natural for you to share knowledge and experiences. You see opportunities and are flexible with a focus on finding the best possible solutions. You are accustomed to using digital tools for communication, creation, and learning.
