JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged support assistant for Solrosens group home and individual support in Junsele.

Your main tasks consist of giving residents the opportunity to have a meaningful life in community. With a pedagogical approach, you will start from the individual needs and wishes of the resident and provide support in daily life.

An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Together with your colleagues, you will work towards making the day meaningful and rich in content.

The LSS accommodation is a residence for adults, where you will have the opportunity to enter a safe environment and continue our systematic improvement work, with responsibilities including implementation plans and documentation.

The job suits you if you can work days, evenings, weekends, and on-call.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in pedagogy, development, and communication. You have probably worked with similar tasks before, perhaps as a support assistant, nursing assistant, or caregiver?

It is an advantage if you are a trained nursing assistant with a focus on functional support, or have other relevant education/work experience that we find equivalent.

Regardless of your background, you are driven by being a contributing factor to the development of the people around you. You often hear that you are a reliable person who is both respectful and empathetic. You are attentive, clear, and appreciate good collaboration.

You are structured and can easily prioritize among tasks.

Communication with residents, relatives, and colleagues is a large part of the assignment, so it is necessary that you master Swedish fluently in both speech and writing. We use language tests before proceeding with recruitment.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A driver's license is a requirement.
