Åkarp is looking for a solution-focused, driven, and engaged leisure educator/teacher for the leisure center. You will be placed at Dalslundskolan 4-6's leisure center, Arken. Dalslundskolan 4-6 is a middle school with 12 classes and approximately 300 students. We share the school facilities with Dalslundskolan 7-9.

At the leisure center Arken, you are part of a team where collaboration and flexibility are key principles.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At the leisure center, you work according to the leisure center assignment and contribute to ensuring that our students have an inspiring, creative, and challenging leisure experience with social interaction, good peer relationships, and well-prepared skills for the future. You take into account the students' interests and needs and are responsible for ensuring that these form the basis for the design of the operations. Together with your colleagues, you systematically plan, implement, and evaluate the operations according to applicable governing documents and the goals of the organization.

As a teacher in the leisure center at Dalslund 4-6, you are an important part of the students' entire school day, where you are a supportive presence for those students who need it. You work collaboratively in a team to support individual students and/or smaller student groups in teaching situations. You organize break activities and employ a low-affective approach. You see opportunities even when something is difficult, are solution-focused, and are committed to creating safe learning environments.

As a teacher in the leisure center at Dalslund 4-6, you collaborate with student health, work teams, and other school staff to achieve good quality in the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a leisure educator or teacher with a degree in visual arts. We prefer that you have previous experience working in a leisure center or school and have a naturally humble and professional approach to the students. Experience working with students who have diabetes is considered an advantage.
