Degebergaskolan is a K-9 school with approximately 350 students, characterized by a calm and friendly atmosphere where students and staff thrive and take good care of each other. Safety and study peace are important factors in students' learning, and we place great emphasis on leadership in the classroom.

At Degebergaskolan, we are in an exciting development phase, where we, together with Kristianstad University, are running a collaborative project around writing in teaching. The project involves all classes and teaching staff at the school with activities in the classroom.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher with us, you stimulate students to learn and take responsibility. With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment based on mutual respect and cooperation, through good leadership both inside and outside the classroom.

The teaching is designed based on the curriculum's goals, where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important cornerstones. You have positive and high expectations of the students and adapt the teaching based on all students' levels, focusing on the best interests of the student.

Through dialogue, you create good relationships characterized by mutual respect and a trusting approach. In your role, you keep up to date with events in the world and the everyday lives of young people. Alternative teaching tools and documentation are a natural part of your work. In a systematic way, you reflect on the practical work, and together with colleagues, you drive development work in the workgroup/school. You also have a shared responsibility for both your own and the group's planning and further development.

If you are new as a teacher, you will be supported by a mentor for the best guidance in your work, and if you are an unqualified teacher, you can conduct teaching but not be responsible for it. Responsibility for grading lies with a certified teacher.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone with a teaching license qualified to teach grades 7-9 in the subjects of mathematics, physics, and chemistry in primary school. Secondly, we are looking for someone with subject knowledge at the university level in the above subjects. It is advantageous if you have pedagogical training at the university level. We would also like to see that you have worked as a teacher in primary school.

You have the ability to adapt the teaching based on each student's conditions, and your lessons are characterized by clear expectations, a conducive working environment, and a desire to learn. You have commitment, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in the school world and how it is influenced by the outside world.

A success factor is your ability to create trusting relationships both inside and outside the school. Furthermore, you are a confident pedagogical leader with the ability to critically analyze your own and the workgroup's methods for continuous development.

Of course, you use digital technology in teaching and as a tool for information, planning, communication, and reporting. You organize and structure your work based on set goals.

As a person, you are communicative, attentive, and well-acquainted with the ethical principles for teachers, as well as having the ability to analyze and document students' abilities and knowledge.

To allow us to consider your application, you must attach your diploma and teaching license. If there are no qualified licensed teachers, you who are unqualified can be employed temporarily according to the Education Act. When we want to offer you the position, you will be required to present an extract from the police record for us to employ you, according to the provisions in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.
