JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work as a facility caretaker with varied tasks at Östra Karups school F-6 and for three preschools, Östra Karups, Hemmeslöv, and Malen's preschool. The work consists of:

• Performing daily service and repairs of equipment and learning environments both indoors and outdoors. This in collaboration with those responsible for the operation and maintenance of the properties.
• Being responsible for safety in the buildings, including fire and safety systems.
• Managing and monitoring deliveries and inventory of materials and equipment.
• Placing orders in the municipality's digital system.
• Performing work in outdoor environments, in collaboration with the municipality's park department, as well as snow removal when needed.
• Assisting and coordinating during renovations and refurbishments.
• Conducting regular inspections. Managing and/or reporting any issues.

The position is distributed so that 75% is located at Östra Karups school, where you have your workplace, and 25% is located at Östra Karups, Hemmeslöv, and Malen's preschool. How this distribution looks is planned together with the principals of each unit, and there is an opportunity for prioritization based on needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school education or equivalent.
• Relevant background in terms of education or experience in similar work.
• Experience in property maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Meritorious:

• SBA training
• IT experience/education

We are looking for a service-oriented person with broad and practical skills in carpentry, electronics, and maintenance. It is important that you are flexible regarding work methods and working hours. Important that you see opportunities instead of obstacles.

We are looking for a person who wants and can build relationships with children, students, and staff. Good at meeting people and has a high degree of service awareness. We expect that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, such as speaking, writing, and understanding, to be able to work based on our instructions for orders, fault reports, and to have a dialogue with colleagues.

IT skills are required to perform job tasks.

A driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are a must.
