As a mechanic at the Roll Grinding Workshop, you will work with effective maintenance and improvement measures to ensure maximum operational availability of facilities and production equipment. Location: Oxelösund.

About the position

Your main tasks will consist of assembly/disassembly and renovation of bearing housings on work rolls and support rolls. You will also work on inspecting and maintaining bearings/mirrors/lists and other components. Since we strive for high flexibility within the function, it also includes assisting with grinding of work rolls and support rolls.

Working hours are daytime with on-call duty every 4th weekend.

Your main responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and improvement work.
• Analyze deviations and develop measures.
• Plan maintenance stops in consultation with operations organizations.
• Participate in service with external personnel.

About you

• You have a high school diploma with a focus on maintenance or another mechanical/technical background.
• Experience from previous maintenance work.
• You are flexible and meticulous and recognize the importance of the group's collective effort.
• Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.
