This is a full-time position during daytime hours. Shift work may occur during certain periods. A-Staffing handles the recruitment, and employment will be directly with SKF Mekan in Katrineholm.

Job Description

As a mechanic, you will be part of the factory's maintenance team, where your closest colleagues are other mechanics and electricians. In this role, you will work both in teams and independently.

• Emergency and planned mechanical maintenance of production equipment
• Installation of new production equipment
• Inspection and preventive maintenance
• Replacement and manufacturing of faulty components

Education and Certification

A high school education from a program with a practical focus (industrial technology, automotive, plumbing, and property) is desirable.

Experience

• At least three years of professional experience in a role that includes mechanics
• Experience reading and understanding machine documentation and drawings
• Class B driver's license and preferably forklift and aerial lift certifications
• Computer skills (Office suite + maintenance systems)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience with Lean and improvement work
• Welding (Mig, Mag, and Gas)
• Pneumatics and Hydraulics

It is an advantage if you have worked as a plumber or have knowledge in PLC, NC, and electrical engineering.
