Mälarplast AB is looking for a dedicated and meticulous Plastics Technician to strengthen our team. With a focus on quality and efficiency, you will play a key role in our production, responsible for tool changes, machine settings, process optimization, and troubleshooting. As a Plastics Technician at Mälarplast AB, your tasks will include:

• Performing tool changes and machine settings to ensure production flow.
• Conducting troubleshooting, problem-solving, and process optimization.
• Monitoring production and ensuring it meets our quality standards.
• Measurement and quality control.
• Collaborating with the maintenance team for preventive tool and machine maintenance.
• Contributing to the development and efficiency of the operations.
• Instructing and training the department's operators and setters.

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications and skills:

• Extensive experience as a Plastics Technician and/or Setter in injection molding within the plastics industry.
• Very good technical understanding and familiarity with machine settings and machine safety.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Communication skills and good teamwork abilities.
• We prefer candidates who have completed a plastics technician training or equivalent.
