At Alingsås Energi, we are looking for a district heating technician who wants to contribute to the development and maintenance of our growing district heating network. Here, you will have an exciting and varied role where technology, sustainability, and quality are in focus.

About the position as a District Heating Technician

As a district heating technician, you will have a broad and developing role where you work across the entire distribution network for district heating.

Your tasks include:

• Troubleshooting and repairing district heating systems
• Inspection of tunnels and networks
• Patrolling and preventive maintenance
• Installation and commissioning of customer facilities
• Meter replacements and system optimization
• Customer contact and booking of service interventions

On-call duty is included in the position.

About you

We are looking for someone with a technical interest and experience in energy or related fields, such as property technology, electrical engineering, HVAC, or operations. You have likely worked as a district heating technician, motor man, pipe layer, operations technician, or in control technology.

We prefer that you have:

• High school education in technology or energy
• Experience in service and troubleshooting
• Good Swedish in speech and writing, as well as computer skills
• Driver's license B (BE and C are advantageous)

To thrive in this role, you are a team player who can also work independently. You are meticulous, structured, and solution-oriented. You recognize the importance of good planning but can also handle rapid changes. Delivering high service and quality is a given for you.

Today, our district heating network spans almost 160 kilometers and supplies 675 villas and 400 apartment buildings with a total of approximately 6,600 apartments – and we continue to grow!
