Do you enjoy events and party venues? We specialize in parties and organize everything from weddings to concerts and corporate events. On our two boats, we host around 200 events annually and take pride in our service and onboard kitchen.

Charm Charter is an event and charter company where one vessel has a party venue for 120 people and the other is a yacht with space for 30 people. Our guests rent the boats exclusively and decide where and when we go, so working hours will vary.

Who are you?

You have experience from the restaurant industry and leadership positions. Perhaps you have previously worked at a party venue? Or on a similar boat?

It is important that you are flexible, quality-conscious, and service-oriented. You have the ability to collaborate, take responsibility, and work in a structured manner.

You enjoy working independently as well as in a team and have an eye for service with that little extra touch, understanding that the guest's experience is number one.

You recognize the importance of leading by example and are willing to perform the same tasks you expect from others.

Your responsibilities and areas of responsibility

You, together with the project manager, are responsible for organizing the event with the evening's organizer and creating a setup so that everyone is satisfied and it becomes a successful party.

Your workplace is primarily on board the yacht M/Y Charm with smaller groups, but you will also assist on our larger boat M/S Blue Charm where we host larger events.

You work closely with the kitchen and communicate with them to carefully follow the schedules for the evening.

To assist you, you have our booking coordinator/project manager who has worked onboard for many years and handles purchasing, scheduling, and inventory. She also manages the early booking phase, and as the event approaches, you take over the booking and follow up on details with the customer.

Since our bookings are primarily in the evenings and on weekends, that is where most of the working hours will be.

As you work on a vessel in traffic, you will also be trained onboard and undergo the necessary safety training to be registered as a deckhand and understand and perform the safety tasks assigned to you.

Qualifications and skills

• You are social, self-assured, and drive development forward onboard while being structured, meticulous, and focused on the guest.
• You are cheerful and positive, contributing good energy!
• You have good knowledge of the alcohol law and the routines it entails.
• Collaborative but self-sufficient in your own work.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
• You are used to working in a fast-paced environment, both in your own work and together with the team.

Setup

Full-time from May until the end of September, with the possibility of time off in the middle of summer.

Start date

Beginning of May but can be flexible for the right person.
