Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

Our client is a social and active woman living in Alingsås who enjoys engaging in various activities.

The role of a personal assistant requires a good ability to create trusting relationships, as the work involves providing support in daily life with all that it entails. We are therefore looking for a calm and attentive person who is engaged, can initiate activities, and motivate in a positive way.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

- wants to work with a woman in her 30s living in Alingsås

- has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

- is non-smoker

It is also advantageous if you:

- are a trained nurse

- have worked as a personal assistant, or in care and support

- have experience with mobility impairments

- have a B driver's license

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary position with an employment rate of about 75%. The shifts are scheduled for daytime, overnight, or nighttime, both on weekdays and weekends. The temporary position runs from week 23 to week 34, with varying working hours as follows:

Day shifts: 09:15–17:00

Night shifts: 17:00–09:15 (including 6 hours and 55 minutes of on-call duty)

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a background check from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
