About the Position

Tellusskolan THEA Bromma is now seeking a meal assistant to be responsible for serving school lunch at our secondary school. The position is 55% and means you play an important role in creating a pleasant and positive lunch experience for our students.

At Tellusskolan THEA in Bromma, you will meet teenagers in an exciting and developing environment. Working in a school restaurant with us means more than just serving food – you contribute to a welcoming atmosphere where students can enjoy their lunch in a safe and pleasant environment. As part of our team, you help create a positive atmosphere during the day's perhaps most important break.

Your Responsibilities

  • Serving and arranging food.
  • Responsible for cleanliness and comfort in the dining room.
  • Assist students as needed and create a welcoming dining environment.
  • Dishwashing and simpler kitchen tasks.
  • Basic handling of special diets according to guidelines.
  • You are responsible for self-control, dishwashing, cleaning, and all other hygiene-related tasks in the kitchen.
  • Some computer skills are needed as you will be responsible for certain orders to the preschool, such as weekly orders of fruits, vegetables, and dairy products.

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Experience working in a kitchen, restaurant, or school cafeteria.
  • Service-oriented and comfortable interacting with children and young people.
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic and social environment.
  • Basic understanding of special diets (no formal education required).

About Tellusskolan THEA Bromma

Our school is a short walk from the tram in Johannesfred and is a small school with big ambitions. We have about 160 students and work with rhetoric as a profile subject to strengthen both personal and linguistic development.

The main operator of Tellusskolan THEA is Tellusskolan II AB, which operates two schools for the higher grades of compulsory school in Linköping and Stockholm.

Employment Conditions

  • Monthly salary
  • Collective agreement
  • 6-month probationary period
  • Part-time position 55 percent.
  • Start date by agreement.
