Your Future Challenge

We are now looking for an Automation Engineer with solid knowledge of control systems for the Technical, Project, and IT department at Iggesunds Bruk, where you will work alongside other engineers in control systems, electrical, instrumentation, and mechanics to drive our projects forward. You will have a coordinating role for our automation systems primarily within PLC but also DCS.

As an Automation Engineer, you will work with availability, functionality, and future technology choices in connection with projects and renovations. A significant focus is also on our work with digitalization and cyber security, where collaboration with IT is essential.

Your tasks will include creating and maintaining lifecycle plans, standards, and documentation for our automation systems. In our investment projects, you will be the discipline responsible for control systems, defining requirements and ensuring quality, as well as being the contact person for suppliers. You will have a large network within our organization and with our suppliers. We also expect you to support maintenance and operations personnel through your specialist role, participate in commissioning and troubleshooting, which means a varied everyday life.

To Succeed in the Role

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our development journey to improve the mill! We require an engineering degree in a relevant field. Highly meritorious is experience working with electrical and automation in factory environments and machine control.

We would like you to have knowledge of Siemens S7 or DCS automation systems, both at the system and application level. You have knowledge of integration between IT systems and control systems. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of IT and cyber security for automation systems.

As a person, you are proactive, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented with a good ability to communicate and collaborate with others. You are passionate about taking on new challenges and projects and contributing innovative and effective improvements and solutions. You also ensure that you complete the tasks you have started.

Other requirements include a B driver's license and proficiency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.

The position is based in Iggesund.
