We are now urgently looking for reinforcement from someone who is meticulous, has a good sense of order, enjoys working in a team, and has customer contact.

For the facility in Vara, we are now seeking 15 seasonal employees for various tasks. We offer a varied and fun job during the harvest (approx. weeks 31-35) with a wonderful group of colleagues!

We are looking for employees for the following tasks:

• Grain reception – Control and supervision of the process during unloading of grain, drying, cleaning, and storage.

• Sampling – Register incoming grain deliveries and take samples for the laboratory.

• Laboratory – Perform analyses of grain to ensure quality.

• Loader operator – Moving and handling of grain

• Night staff – Control and supervision of drying, cleaning, and storage

About us:

Varaslättens Lagerhus was founded in 1930 and is an economic association owned by about 1,930 members who are grain producers in western Sweden. The association dries, stores, and trades grain, and together with our members, we aim to produce attractive products for the milling and feed industry. The association has a turnover of approximately 1,100 million SEK and handles about 300,000 tons of grain per year. Our grain handling is distributed across two facilities, one in Vara and one in Tråvad, and we have our own transport company with six trucks. The association also sells seeds, plant nutrients, energy, and plant protection products along with well-developed advisory services. We have 42 employees, and our staff is a competent, engaged, and well-knit team.
