About Us

The Medical Clinic is part of the specialized care area at Blekinge Hospital.

Our mission is to provide somatic specialist care to the population of Blekinge within the subspecialized areas of internal medicine. Our operations are located in both Karlshamn and Karlskrona. The day care unit is the treatment unit of the medical clinic for western Blekinge and is organizationally part of the medical reception in Karlshamn.

About the Job

Here you will work as a nurse on behalf of the referring physician and have patient responsibility for matters concerning the patient's medication treatment for a limited period. You will have a varied workday with a lot of patient-centered and medical technical work. You will meet patients from a variety of subspecialties within the medical disease panorama, including hematology, pulmonology, rheumatology, and neurology.

The training in the day care unit takes place gradually in close collaboration with your colleagues. When the time is right, you will be offered relevant assignment training during working hours. To keep you updated and at the forefront in terms of quality, participation in network meetings within the Southern Health Care Region and further training opportunities in relevant topics for the organization will be offered.

About You

You are a licensed nurse with a few years of work experience. It is a plus if you have experience in independent decision-making within the framework of the nurse's assignment.

The climate in the day care unit is characterized by open dialogue and the desire to do good for every patient who needs our services. It is therefore important for us that you are communicative and appreciate close collaboration with your colleagues and patients. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the assignment.
