Job Responsibilities

Are you a welder looking for new challenges and opportunities to develop? Then we have the position for you as we are currently seeking welders for our client, a leading global developer and supplier of technology, automation, and service.

Varied tasks depending on competence:

• As a licensed welder, you will primarily perform manual welding according to the methods MMA, TIG, and MIG/MAG on materials such as steel and special alloys. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting work instructions and drawings, as well as ensuring the quality of the work performed in accordance with applicable standards.
• As a robotic welder, you will work with automated welding cells based on advanced robots. You will be responsible for programming, monitoring, and adjusting robotic welding, as well as performing regular maintenance and quality assurance of the welding results. The work is done in collaboration with colleagues from both production and engineering departments. It is important that you have a good understanding of the properties of materials and how welding affects the final result. You also need to be certified in the various licenses required to perform the work and have a good understanding of safety when working at high temperatures. Welding is a craft, and it is in the details. Therefore, we expect you to have a strong commitment and be a willing worker.

In the event of employment, you will be hired out to the client as a consultant via Posti. The assignment is long-term with no end date and good opportunities to be taken on by the client.

Requirements for welders:

• Valid licenses for MIG/MAG
• Experience in MIG/MAG and TIG
• Completed 3-year high school education
• Knowledge of reading drawings
• Holds welding certificates in methods such as: MMA, MIG/MAG, and TIG for both carbon steel and stainless steel
• Certificate for hot work
• Good language skills in Swedish and English
• Welding skills and documented experience in welding methods 111, 141, 135, and 136.
• Good knowledge of mathematics and robot programming
• Experience in TIG welding and completing products at the station
• Ability to assess welding quality and results
• Meritorious: License to operate forklifts and overhead cranes, as well as previous experience in inspecting and assessing welding results
