What will you do? As a Team Leader in the Fruit & Vegetables department within Mathem's warehouse operations, you will be responsible for leading and distributing work among employees in a specific area. This is an operational role where you actively work with follow-ups in the form of employee conversations, health talks, and coaching discussions. Furthermore, you will participate in improvement efforts to achieve the process's and the business's goals regarding employee satisfaction, quality, and productivity in accordance with the budget. You will work closely and report to the Area Manager. The focus will also be on achieving the area's set goals and budget. You will work efficiently with optimal resource allocation to reach set goals and ensure the flow of production. With a good understanding of logistics processes and the organization, you will work to effectively solve the challenges that arise in the business. You have operational responsibility and actively coach the employee team. You may also be involved in workplace environment issues.
Your working hours will be scheduled during the day with potential weekend work.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Previous leadership experience
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Experience in the food industry is an advantage
- Experience with previous WMS systems is an advantage
- Training in leadership, labor law, workplace environment, logistics, and lean is an advantage
- Good knowledge of tools, processes, and methods within logistics, quality, and workplace environment is an advantage

It is important that you have an operationally present leadership style, are professional and fair. You are proactive and solution-oriented, without compromising on quality and safety. Additionally, it is important that you are a good communicator, have an easy time collaborating with others, and are structured and meticulous in your work approach.
