In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the unit's mobility. At FRA, we work on unique tasks – for Sweden's security and integrity.

Your Mission

As an operational officer focusing on logistics, technology, and security, you belong to a unit within the Signals Intelligence department. The unit has a close collaboration with the Armed Forces.

The unit is in a development phase where you will play a crucial role in creating the future conditions for the unit to operate. The work will be carried out in a dynamic context where operational development goes hand in hand with technical possibilities and conditions. The mission will evolve over time, providing you with good opportunities to influence.

In the role of officer, your main tasks will be to ensure the unit's operational capability during both exercises and operations. This includes:

• Ensuring that the unit has the capability to operate from other operational locations, either individually or together with the Armed Forces. The task includes planning, coordination, collaboration, and execution.
• Setting requirements and driving the work to develop technical solutions for mobile operations and alternative workplaces, as well as maintaining certain IT environments.
• Ensuring maintained security, including security protection, when working outside your own area.

You Can

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school diploma
• Experience in military/civil logistics service or equivalent coordinating experience
• Experience in IT/technology or security deemed relevant by the employer for the position
• Driver's license (B)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We consider it meritorious if you have:

• Experience from staff service within the Armed Forces or similar organizations
• Held a technical leadership role
• Experience in project management/coordination
• Experience in security protection work (operational and security protection analysis and planning)
• Experience in communication service
• Training in communication service
• Education in signal protection
• Officer training
• Certifying education in electrical and/or network technology
• Driver's license (C) or higher
• Experience in intelligence and/or security operations
• Knowledge and/or experience from FRA's clients

More Information

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes by bus from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is a successful security screening with a background check. The security screening will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act.
