Are you a licensed nurse with experience in municipal care looking for an exciting assignment this summer? We are now seeking several nurses for Avesta municipality for staffing assignments within special housing (SÄBO), short-term departments, home healthcare, and LSS operations. About the assignment

• Location: Avesta municipality
• 
  
• Position: Pool position within SÄBO, short-term, home healthcare, and LSS
• Period 1: 2 nurses, 100% from May 1 to September 28, 2025
• Period 2: 3 nurses, 100% from June 9 to August 10, 2025
• Working hours: Scheduled shifts day, evening, and weekend
• Scope: 100%, 38.25 hours/week
• Accommodation: Assistance with accommodation available if needed

Your tasks

✔ Health and medical care interventions within special housing, short-term departments, home healthcare, and LSS

✔ Standard nursing tasks such as assessments, medication management, documentation, and supervision of staff

✔ In the evenings and weekends, you are responsible for all municipal health and medical care in Avesta

✔ During the day, a personal vehicle is required for certain placements (due to limited public transport options)

✔ During shifts, operational vehicles are used for transportation

Requirements

✅ Licensed nurse with at least 3 years of professional experience

✅ At least 1 year of experience in municipal health and medical care in the last 3 years

✅ Good knowledge of Swedish – both spoken and written

✅ Good knowledge of legislation, routines, and documentation systems

✅ Driving license B is required

✅ SITHS card, HoSp and IVO control are required

✅ Flexible and comfortable working both independently and in a team

Meritorious experiences (value deductions):

• 🏥 Previous assignments in Avesta municipality for at least 6 months in the last 5 years

Leave

Requests for leave during the period w23–w33 must be submitted with the bid. A maximum of 7 consecutive days will be granted without the requirement for a substitute. For longer leave, a substitute must be offered. Individual days off may be approved by agreement.
