Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for two primary school teachers for after-school care directed towards middle school at Augustenborg School. As a primary school teacher for after-school care, you will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing in the after-school program, creating a stimulating educational environment based on the curriculum and other governing documents.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for promoting student development and learning, as well as finding strategies to reach each student and support them in both knowledge development and personal growth. Your mission includes providing students with a meaningful leisure time and promoting diverse contacts, social community, and strengthening group relationships. The after-school program should complement the education in school, allowing students to explore, test, create, and live the knowledge they have acquired. We can succeed in this mission together through good collaboration within the work teams where we plan, follow up, and evaluate the activities. This is to best offer an after-school program that not only provides the right conditions for development and learning but also ensures that students actually receive it.

Planning time together with your colleagues.
Structured conference time every week where we collectively develop our teaching with the support of our lead teacher in after-school care.
During school hours, primary school teachers in after-school care collaborate with the school and conduct certain teaching based on needs and competencies.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher in after-school care. It is advantageous if you have prior experience in the profession. You have a good understanding and knowledge of the school's governing documents and apply these in your daily work. Furthermore, you possess good didactic and pedagogical skills that enable you to independently lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout the day.

Your teaching is modern and based on evidence-based research, and you effectively work with relevant digital tools.

Augustenborg School is a F-9 school in Malmö's southern inner city with about 750 students. We are a multicultural school with students and staff from all corners of the world.
