About the Company

Pekå plast AB specializes in injection molding of plastic. The business operates in 9000 m2 of purpose-built facilities centrally located in Perstorp. In the production area, there are 25 injection molding machines with capacities up to 2200 tons and a maximum shot weight of 17 kg. As we are in an expansion phase, we need to expand our team with additional machine setters for our injection molding department.

In this recruitment, we collaborate with Wikan Personal AB.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of machine setter, you will work with injection molding, monitoring production and post-processing, inspecting details and material handling at the machines, as well as service and maintenance of the machinery.

Your Background/Your Qualities

You who are applying have completed upper secondary education or equivalent, master Swedish in speech and writing, and preferably have a few years of experience in similar tasks. To manage your tasks, you should have a technical interest, be handy, and not see obstacles but opportunities. It is an advantage if you have a forklift license. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities! You strive to deliver quality and are a good ambassador for the company. You perform your tasks with precision and handle stressful situations calmly and methodically while having a sense of order and being able to collaborate easily.

If you are not currently working as a machine setter but have the right profile, you will receive training from Pekå plast AB during the introduction period. The position as a machine setter is full-time, on an intermittent 3-shift basis. After a hiring period with Wikan Personal, the employment is expected to transition to a permanent position with Pekå plast AB.
