About the Role

At Forsmark, electrical engineering is responsible for maintaining and developing electrical systems and cable construction. The electrical quality engineering group is responsible for routines and testing to ensure the quality of procured components and works broadly based on technical standards and norms. Among other things, the group works with planning and execution of testing of new equipment as well as aging analyses of electrical components and cables.

• The subject area should be a technology-oriented field within electrical engineering, power engineering, or materials physics. For example: testing and analysis of new electrical equipment or aging analysis of existing technology.
• The topic can be a specific method of testing and qualification of equipment or focus on a type of technology of interest such as: electric motors, cables, sensors, or capacitors. Proposals for your own project ideas are welcome.
• This assignment is for 1 or 2 students.

Requirements

We are looking for a student/students who want to work towards fossil freedom and who will soon graduate from their academic studies. You are also someone who identifies with our principles: Active, Open, Positive, and Safety.

• Education: Engineering degree with a relevant focus such as electrical engineering or physics.
• Scope: 15 or 30 credits.
• Language skills: Swedish and English.
