We are looking for someone who wants to work with food at an ICA store in Lund!

As demand is high among our ICA customers, we are seeking someone who is passionate about food and service! You can start working after the summer on a schedule with a probationary employment that will transition to a permanent position. The positions in the deli are 30-35 hours/week, every other weekend. Cold kitchen/kitchen Monday-Friday, full-time.

Job Responsibilities

Deli: You will work in a manual deli. In your daily work, you will serve the store's customers. Together with the team, you will work to provide customers with an extraordinary experience in cheese, charcuterie, and fish. Opening and closing are included in the position. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a manual department and daily meetings with a customer focus. You always strive to go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations. For the position, you need to combine a fast pace with great accuracy. The job requires good teamwork skills as you will work with the store's employees to create a selling and inspiring department. The store has a carefully selected assortment in deli and charcuterie, and all food hygiene regulations and self-control programs are followed.

Kitchen/Cold Kitchen: We are looking for someone who has previously worked in a kitchen, preparation, or cold kitchen. You have prior experience from restaurants, cafes, or food production. You are food-loving, creative, and always want to try new things. We are looking for employees for the kitchen where we produce daily lunch, ready meals, sandwiches, salads, and sandwich cakes, etc.

You are an experienced cold kitchen worker who is flexible, creative, full of ideas, loves to produce, and is structured and meticulous. You understand the meaning of the work processes within the kitchen and have documented experience in cold kitchen or cold preparation.

You work efficiently, are stress-resistant, social, and outgoing. Good communication and teamwork skills are essential. It is a plus if you have experience in the grocery retail sector. We prefer that you have documented education and work experience as a cold kitchen worker or similar. The importance of accuracy and a deep understanding of food safety is obvious to you. You have a solid interest in cooking and meal solutions.
