Event Manager

We are Club Demonstration Services (CDS), Costco's preferred provider of in-house event marketing. We offer the industry's best person-to-person marketing services to increase sales for our customers and Costco. Our team of 26,000 associates worldwide plays a key role in the success of our partners and Costco.

Mission

You have a key role within the Malmö store, which will open on July 1, 2025; thanks to your soul as a retailer, you develop the sales of your outlet and embody the posture of the leader with a 360° vision.

Your challenges:

- Manage the events, promotion and sales of suppliers' products.

- Ensure event quality, efficient use of space and compliance with procedures.

- Collaborate with managers to evaluate event performance (execution rates, sales, costs) and make any necessary adjustments.

- Oversee the preparation of business plans and ensure their follow-up.

- Manage recruitment, training, evaluation and employee decisions.

- Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal partners (purchasing, marketing, operations).

- Work with CDS teams to implement initiatives and achieve organizational goals.

Profile

- Your ability to analyze figures, to delegate, to drive and to energetically support your teams will enable you to achieve a common goal: to perform well together!

- You have 3 to 5 years' experience in a packaged goods brand on the customer and/or supplier side.

- Professional certification (NEHA) in food handling.

- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and web browsers.

- Fluent Swedish and English, Spanish is a plus.
