About the Position

As an operations technician with us, you are a central part of our operations as you have the opportunity to facilitate our customers' daily lives. You are the face of Specialfastigheter and have daily contact with our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily supervision and operation of our properties in Borås and surrounding areas. Travel is required during working hours and sometimes to other properties in our area.

As an operations technician, you will work independently and represent Specialfastigheter on your own daily. Collaboration with customers as well as with property managers, colleagues, and contractors is a central part of the job. In ongoing management, you are responsible for daily operations, corrective maintenance, and sometimes also for minor planned maintenance and tenant adaptations.

Examples of tasks included in the position:

• Corrective maintenance
• Implement and follow up on operational optimization measures
• Minor planned maintenance and tenant adaptations
• Systematic fire protection work (SBA)
• Follow-up, analysis, and compilation regarding media, regulatory requirements, and inspections
• Ongoing contact with the client's operational staff, colleagues, and contractors
• Participate in the work with your unit's budget and business plan together with your manager.

About You

To be successful in this role, you have:

• Education in operations technology or equivalent competence acquired in another way
• Previous experience in a role such as operations technician, plumbing installer, electrician, ventilation installer, or another role deemed relevant to the position
• General knowledge and understanding of property technical systems
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is used in daily work
• Good computer skills and experience with e.g. invoice management, orders, and similar tasks
• Driver's license (B)

As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and attentive, and can maintain your composure in pressured situations. You are used to solving problems and perform your work with quality. To thrive in this role, you must be able to work both independently and in a team. Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities.

Location

The position is located in Borås. You will be part of the Property Area South with a local office in Gothenburg. Travel between your properties is included in the position, and since our operations are nationwide, travel outside your area may also occur.

We conduct a special security assessment where we perform a security interview and review final judgments from Swedish courts. Before employment, we also conduct a drug test through our occupational health service.
