Electrical and Instrument Technician

To succeed in the role of Electrical and Instrument Technician with us, we see that you have experience working with electrical systems and instrumentation, preferably within the process industry. You have a strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail and effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical education in electrical or automation
• Experience and knowledge of low and high voltage
• Certification in EX/ATEX classification and experience from the process industry is an advantage
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

About the position

Tyre Recycling needs an Electrical and Instrument Technician for the maintenance department in Åsensbruk. We offer a role in a supportive team where you can contribute to the green transition. Here, you will be involved in developing our facility to meet customer needs and play a key role in creating future climate-smart solutions. As an Electrical and Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical instrumentation and control systems within the facility. You will coordinate with external resources and contribute to the continuous improvement of instrumentation and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical and signal problems using drawings and documentation
• Implement solutions to maintain and improve the factory's instrumentation and systems
• Calibrate instruments to meet operational requirements
• Plan and execute the installation and commissioning of new instruments and systems
• Train and supervise maintenance personnel and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Work on continuously improving the facility's instrumentation and safety procedures
