Do you have extensive experience in earthworks, water and sewage, and construction engineering, and are you used to leading design and projects within the construction and civil engineering sector? We are now looking for an experienced project and design manager for an exciting assignment within the MAXIMA program.

About the role

As a consultant at Billdals Konsult och Bygg, you will work in this role with both project and design management, where you drive sub-projects and design assignments.

The assignment includes ensuring that the projects meet established requirements and goals, as well as planning and coordinating the work, primarily within earthworks for the Tunnel and Borgeby Connection projects.

We are looking for someone who:

✔ Has at least 10 years of experience in earthworks, water and sewage, and construction engineering, both from production, project management, and design.

✔ Has at least 5 years of experience as a design manager, with experience in planning, executing, and monitoring design deliveries.

✔ Has at least 5 years of experience in design management for water and sewage projects of at least 5 million SEK.

✔ Has experience leading larger design assignments (over 10 million SEK) in the last 5 years.

✔ Has experience identifying and managing risks in design, such as work environment, scope, design, commissioning, and handover.

✔ Has solid knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.

✔ Has at least 5 years of experience in cost and time tracking in projects.

Responsibilities:

✔ Create and maintain a detailed design plan, including timelines, resources, and milestones.

✔ Lead and coordinate the design team, including designers, contractor's designers, and technical specialists.

✔ Monitor and control the budget for the design phases.

✔ Ensure that the design meets necessary standards and delivery requirements.

✔ Act as a central communication point between various stakeholders.

✔ Identify and manage risks and coordinate with the responsible Bas-P.

✔ Ensure that the design complies with applicable laws, permits, and regulations.

Accountabilities:

✔ Governance and management of design in the project.

✔ Compile and follow up on the design scope.

✔ Manage and coordinate consultants in the design process.

✔ Resource the design organization together with the project manager.

✔ Ensure that documents are prepared according to the business system and client requirements.

✔ Follow up on consultant contracts regarding progress, finances, and resources.

✔ Coordinate the design with the program's other work.

✔ Overall responsibility for review and quality assurance of the design.

✔ Lead and manage the design work and formulate materials for change processes.
