About the workplace

Home Care Center and Upper Home Care Center are located in the central parts of Uddevalla.

Our care staff travel between clients by car, e-bike, bicycle, or on foot. Our clients primarily live in apartments in an urban environment.

Since autumn 2022, home care has entered a full-time journey. This means that care staff work 19 shifts every 4 weeks. Working hours include both day and evening shifts as well as every other weekend. A review of the operational needs occurs every 4 weeks, and as a result, schedule changes may occur. Home Care Center and Upper Center are part of a collaborative area with South Home Care.

Home care in Uddevalla municipality continuously works to implement digital solutions. Our care staff have individual work phones as a tool for communication, planning, information, and digital locks.

Job responsibilities

We perform home care services in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL). Our mission also includes performing health and medical care services on delegation, instruction, or prescription according to the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL).

Your main job responsibilities are:

• To create a safe everyday life for our clients through good care and support.
• The support can vary depending on the individual's needs and wishes. This may involve assistance with personal care, cleaning, and walks.
• You will also perform health and medical care tasks as delegated by a nurse.
• To be a designated care contact and have extra responsibility for certain clients.

Qualifications

• Trained nursing assistant
• Protected professional title
• The work includes documentation according to applicable legislation, which means you must express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish, as well as have some computer skills.

Meritorious

• Experience in home care
• Driver's license (B)
