About the position

We at Olivia Personal Assistance are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant part-time, about 25%, or as a substitute who can work both weekdays and weekends as needed for our client in Kungsholmen, Stockholm.

The working hours are scheduled as follows with a break of 75 minutes between shifts:

• 08:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• 03:15 PM - 06:00 PM

Start date is according to agreement, and we would like to see you start training immediately.

About the client

The client is a woman in her 70s who suffered a brain hemorrhage in the 1990s and has lasting disabilities such as left-sided paralysis and some cognitive impairments, including time perception. The client uses a manual wheelchair, shower chair, and as her assistant, you will undergo a test to receive medication delegation.

The job responsibilities are as follows:

• Assist with daily routines such as household chores
• Assist with dressing and undressing as well as during meals including cooking
• Structure the client's daily life through careful planning
• Handle aids such as the wheelchair and take the initiative for outings

Furthermore, the client enjoys going out on excursions with her assistant, for example, visiting a museum. She also has a cat.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people and can analyze the needs of others. As a person, you are calm and good at taking the initiative to stimulate the client's interests. You have good experience handling a wheelchair both indoors and outdoors. Furthermore, you should be attentive, solution-focused, and engaged, as great importance is placed on personal suitability. The client herself prefers female assistants, and only women work in her assistant group.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Personal Assistant or equivalent care work
• Care assistant education or other healthcare education
• Not allergic to pets
• Swimmer
• You speak fluent Swedish

Employment rate: 1 part-time position of about 25% scheduled for weekdays, and 1 substitute extra/as needed
