Your role and responsibilities

Electrification Distribution Solution sells and markets products and solutions to utility companies, industries, the transport and infrastructure sectors, focusing on meeting customer needs for renewable energy and the increasing complexity of power grids and industry.
The role reports to the sales manager.
- The portfolio includes MSP switchgear, products, and packages of the entire offering.
- Your mission will be to independently conduct a successful sales approach to customers in the power industry and towards industry, which includes both end customers and partners.
- You will be part of a sales team and have a clear customer responsibility, which includes overall responsibility for marketing, sales, and budget.
- Your customer responsibility includes actively and systematically engaging customers to maximize order intake and profitability based on customer-specific plans.
- Your ability to create and develop customer relationships is an essential part of the job, requiring social competence.
- The position also means that you will often be traveling, so you should expect to use your car frequently for work.
- You share ABB's core values regarding safety and integrity, which means you take responsibility for your own actions while also feeling responsible for your colleagues and the business.
Qualifications for the role
- To succeed in this role, you need to have the ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage solutions to specific customer needs. You have experience in sales, preferably within the power sector. If you have the right personality but not yet experience in sales, you are also welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of the power industry, power technology, and complex sales solutions is advantageous. We prefer that you have good leadership skills, are proactive, and goal-oriented in everything you do.
- As a person, you are open, social, and communicative, and you are interested in meeting people.
- You act in a way that builds trust with customers and find it easy to understand their business due to your technical competence.
- Several years of experience in sales
- Experience from the power industry
- High school engineer or university degree, preferably with a focus on power engineering.
- Since the role involves contact with our factories in Europe, we require good knowledge of English.
- You write and speak Swedish fluently.
- You have a B driver's license and are proficient in sales support programs and MS Office.
