Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care.

Elderly Care, Special Housing:
In our residences, you help the elderly with more extensive care and support needs. This may involve physical disabilities due to age or illness. Together with supportive colleagues, you work to create wonderful days and a warm, safe, and joyful environment for those living here.

Disability Services and Social Psychiatry:
The department is responsible for LSS housing, daily activities, housing support, short-term stays, and personal assistance. With great commitment, we work with the individual's needs at the center and based on a belief in the individual's own abilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work involves providing good care and support to our users and assisting them in their daily lives. You will help with daily/nightly tasks, personal hygiene, and medication distribution for those in need. Delegated tasks from the municipality's HSL unit are included, as well as ongoing documentation (such as actions, health status, and social status) in our current documentation system.

During night shifts, you may work alone, fully or partially, at one or more workplaces. We offer awake and journaling night shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:
• You must be at least 18 years old to perform the tasks according to the requirements of the Work Environment Authority.
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written (approved in basic Swedish for compulsory school grade 9 or SFI D).

Meritorious:
• Studying/studied the nursing program, child and leisure program, or other educational training that the employer deems equivalent.
• Experience in care and support work.
• B driver's license. This is a requirement for the home care night patrol.
• You have previously been delegated.

The position requires you to independently plan your work to meet our users' needs. We are looking for someone with a professional approach characterized by good communication, respect, and dignity. The job requires flexibility, initiative, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle stress.
