ArkivIT is a consulting company with expertise in digital archive and information management, offering services in our areas of Archive & Registry, Data Protection, Information Security, and E-archives. The company was founded in 2010, and since then, our services have expanded, our expertise has broadened, and we continue to grow. Our consultants are dedicated to their profession and contribute their specialist knowledge to clients throughout Sweden. Our ambition is to take care of and protect the digital cultural heritage while strengthening our clients in modern e-governance and information management.

We continue to grow, and therefore we are looking for an experienced archivist who is curious about digitalization!

About the role As an archivist with us, you will work on client assignments that involve a highly varied workload with tasks in archives and digital information management. This includes tasks such as organizing and cataloging, conducting retention investigations, revising and developing information management plans, reviewing the client's archive and registry functions, as well as providing suggestions for efficiency improvements and sometimes even conducting training in the field. As a consultant, you will have an advisory role, supporting clients in various matters and also contributing to strategic work.

You will be part of our consulting team in Information Management Southwest, which currently consists of 8 employees.

This role is based in Gothenburg, and you will work on-site with the client, with the possibility of working from home, depending on the client's needs and the nature of the assignment.

Qualifications

• Academic education in archive and information science (at least 60 credits)
• At least 2 years of experience in practical and strategic work in the archivist profession
• Good communication skills
• Experience working in document and case management systems, e-archives, or similar
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

Personal qualities We are looking for someone who is structured and has good communication skills. You should also be able to work independently, have a sense of service, and take initiative. You should be a good collaborator and flexible, which is important in a varied work environment.
