Your Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants to help build Mayekawa Europe's marketing function. You will be part of the central marketing department and play a key role in creating and implementing effective marketing activities to increase our presence and market share in Northern EU.

You will collaborate with the marketing function in Spain to ensure a unified strategy and maintain ongoing dialogue with the headquarters in Tokyo to follow the group's guidelines and goals.

The position is based at our office in Norrköping, where you will be part of a close-knit and family-oriented team. The role also involves travel, both within and outside Sweden.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for strategy and daily management of social media
• Create reference articles and content for digital channels
• Plan and execute trade shows and events
• Develop sales-driven materials such as presentations and brochures
• Implement marketing strategies and locally adapted campaigns
• Develop strategies for local websites and optimize the company's digital presence

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with relevant education in marketing, communication, or economics, as well as several years of experience in marketing, preferably within B2B and a technical industry. You have worked both strategically and operationally with digital marketing, social media, content production, and SEO. Experience with trade shows and event planning, as well as collaborating with external marketing contacts, is a plus.

You are independent, proactive, and thrive in an international environment, with experience managing markets within the EMEA region and collaborating with global teams. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of business and analytical tools within marketing and are used to working independently – as the role involves building the marketing function from the ground up. Fluent English and Swedish are required, and other languages are a plus.
