We are looking for an experienced and business-driven project buyer for a consulting assignment with a client. The assignment involves project purchasing within investment projects with a focus on distribution.

Your Role

As a project buyer, you will play a key role in the procurement phase of investment projects. You will be responsible for driving the purchasing process from start to finish, ensuring profitable deals and quality in deliveries, as well as contributing to strategic purchasing decisions.

Your Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the purchasing process in investment projects focused on distribution
• Draft request for proposal documents and contract drafts
• Procure according to both competitive procedures and framework agreements
• Ensure that purchasing strategies contribute to business benefits and quality assurance
• Negotiate contracts and manage regulations with suppliers
• Work with savings goals and KPIs within purchasing
• Follow up on deviations and act as a link between suppliers and project management

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in project purchasing within contracts
• Relevant university education in engineering, law, or economics
• Experience in investment projects and contract procurements within mechanics, processes, electrical, and automation
• Knowledge and experience working with contract law and contract forms such as AB/ABT/ABA
• Experience in procurement in the private sector
• Understanding and interest in technology and energy

Desirable Experience

• Experience in purchasing within earthworks and construction
• Documented experience in negotiation and business development
• Previous work with framework agreements and call-off contracts

Location The assignment will be carried out at the client's various facilities within Stockholm County.

Timeline and Scope

• Start date: April/May 2025 as agreed
• Scope: Full-time
• Assignment period: 12 months with the possibility of extension (+1 year)
