Alovia Health Center is a well-established healthcare facility in Trollhättan with over 3,500 registered patients and a strong connection to the local community. Our services include, among other things, medical consultations, district nurse consultations, psychosocial support, and a child health center (BVC) where we aim to build a safe and professional child health care. We are a workplace where teamwork, professional development, and the best interest of the patient are at the center.

We are now looking for an engaged and qualified BVC nurse who can help deliver exceptional care to our youngest patients and their families. As part of our team, you will play a central role in developing our child health center and will also assist in our other departments.

About the BVC Nurse Position

As a BVC nurse at Alovia Health Center, you will have a key role in building and developing our child health center. You will work independently but also in close collaboration with doctors, district nurses, and other professionals.

Your main responsibilities include:

✔ Child health care according to the national child health care program – health checks, vaccinations, follow-ups.

✔ Guidance and advice to parents about children's development, breastfeeding, nutrition, sleep, and other health issues.

✔ Working preventively and identifying children's needs for support in collaboration with other actors, such as child and adolescent psychiatry and social services.

✔ Administrative work and record-keeping in digital systems.

✔ Health talks and parental support through individual conversations and group activities.

Qualifications We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, we hope you have:

✔ A licensed pediatric nurse or district nurse at BVC.

✔ Experience working at a BVC or in pediatric care (preferable).

✔ Good knowledge of children's development, vaccinations, and common health conditions.

✔ Confidence in working independently but also a willingness to collaborate in a team.

✔ An empathetic approach and good pedagogical skills in contact with parents and children.
