About the position

As an operational purchaser, you will work with the operational part of our purchasing activities within the Operational Purchasing & Inbound Delivery department at our headquarters in Strömsund. The operational purchasing team currently consists of 5 employees who will be your closest colleagues.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage daily purchasing processes and ensure that the material flow is efficient.
• Receive purchasing proposals from the business and verify data.
• Create purchase orders and manage order confirmations from suppliers.
• Supplier reconciliations
• Collaboration with other departments and be the “spider in the web” for the production unit.

We are looking for someone who

Has relevant education in purchasing and we prefer that you have previous experience in logistics or purchasing. Understanding the process “from farm to fork” in a manufacturing business is important. Since the position involves many internal and external contacts, it requires good communication and collaboration skills. As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.

We would like you to

• have a genuine interest in problem-solving.
• have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
• have experience with the Office package.

It is a plus if you have worked in Dynamics as it is our business system.

The location is Strömsund.
