About the Job

Ikett is now looking for an experienced mechanic in heavy vehicles who wants to continue their development from a long-term perspective with our client just outside Lund!

We are looking for someone who has an interest in technology and service, as well as the ability to repair, troubleshoot, and deliver the best solutions to customers!

The job will involve service and assembly work on heavy/larger vehicles, where troubleshooting, electrical work, hydraulics, mechanics, and repair welding are included. Service and maintenance will take place both in the workshop and in the field at customer locations in the area. Most manuals are in English, which means you need basic knowledge of the English language.

The work is scheduled during the day, starting according to agreement. Initially, you will be employed through Ikett, with the goal of transitioning to a direct employment with the client after six months.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who thrives in a varied role where collaboration and problem-solving skills are essential. We believe you have a long-term mindset and are humble about learning and developing together with other employees. Previous relevant education or experience can be in the field of mechanics related to tractors, buses, cars, trains, trucks, or boats. A suitable background could also be if you have previously worked as a service technician, in industrial maintenance, or with engines.

Furthermore, we see that you:

Have basic computer skills.
Can communicate in Swedish and have basic knowledge of English.

It is considered a merit if you have:

Previously worked with engines.
Previously worked with heavy vehicles.
Experience in electrical work, hydraulics, troubleshooting, and technology.

The position requires you to have a B driver's license.
