The Regional Properties unit, part of Västfastigheter construction and management, is responsible for the management of the region's agricultural schools, folk high schools, offices, cultural properties, the Botanical Garden, and Alingsås Laundry.

The unit employs property managers, project leaders, project coordinators, technical coordinators, and technical managers, and is led by a property manager. Currently, there are 16 people working in the unit. We are now looking for a property manager who will be involved in the responsibility for VGR's agricultural and folk high school facilities.

Responsibilities

As a property manager, you will have a central role in the organization with overall responsibility for customer relations, the property, and its development from a customer and owner perspective. Ongoing maintenance work, property investments, and tenant adaptations are taking place in the properties. In your role, you will be responsible for the customer's needs and the development of suitable properties in the long and short term, as well as being part of and leading the management area's property team.

Focusing on customer needs, you will work with maintenance and investment planning, space changes, and act as project owner for various types of projects for the properties, which includes responsibility for the project's finances and dialogue with the customer, project leaders, and technical managers. You will also ensure that tenant drawings, agreements, areas, and similar are kept updated in our systems. Our properties have high demands on technical standards and robustness to meet customer needs, and you will work closely with them and your colleagues to fulfill these. The position is located at Regionens Hus in Skövde, but since the operation has a regional responsibility, travel is included in the job. Where possible, we use public transport for travel.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in civil engineering or equivalent education/experience that we deem comparable. You have solid experience in property management and are used to further developing properties. Furthermore, you have experience in property management and/or project management, or have worked with the development of community properties. A driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position. Experience in project management and maintenance planning, experience in leading and driving property development projects, and experience working in a politically governed organization are all merits. You are engaged, communicative, and have good collaboration skills. To succeed in the role, you need to have good strategic and analytical abilities, as well as the ability to prioritize well and focus on the right things. To ensure that your work benefits everyone, it is important that you can express yourself well both verbally and in writing and are comfortable with oral presentations. You are proactive and have a systematic approach to your work.
