In the role of project manager with us, you will play a central role in driving and coordinating assignments through various phases, such as planning, system documentation, and construction documentation. You will be responsible for leading, planning, and following up on the assignments' time, cost, and content, always focusing on delivering high quality.

Depending on your profile and interests, as well as the nature of the assignments, you may be involved in:

• Large and complex assignments
• System documentation, either as the main responsible or co-responsible
• Preparation of road or railway plans
• Turnkey contracts, from planning to implementation

In addition, you will play an important role in supporting and coaching less experienced colleagues, contributing to their development, the team's success, and also giving you the opportunity to grow as a leader.

About you

We are looking for someone who is proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to make decisions even in complex situations. You are organized and skilled at planning and creating structures that facilitate both for yourself and others. You have a business-oriented approach and understand how to identify new business opportunities while maintaining and building long-term relationships with clients and partners. Furthermore, you value collaboration, are attentive, and are good at engaging and building teams where everyone works towards common goals.

Qualifications

• University degree or master's degree in a technical field, or equivalent senior experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in project management within relevant areas.
• Experience working in consulting organizations.
• Both Swedish and English are used as working languages with us, which requires excellent proficiency in both languages, spoken and written.

Meritorious

• Educational background in railway, urban development, construction, or civil engineering.
• Certification in project management, such as IPMA or PMI.

Location and other information

We offer a permanent position at SYSTRA AB, starting as agreed. You will have your base at one of our offices in Sweden, but we also offer the flexibility to work remotely a few days a week. Travel may occur in the course of work.
