We are now looking for a Software Tester to join Husqvarna's Pro Robotics team, who wants to contribute to ensuring a first-class customer experience and delivering high-quality products to professional users.

About the role

In the role of Software Tester for Husqvarna's Pro series of robotic lawn mowers, you will be part of the testing team, which plays a crucial role in ensuring high quality for both new models and ongoing functional development of our already launched products. You will work to verify that the mowers meet both technical requirements and customer expectations. This is done through careful system testing, where we perform both regression tests and focus on specific functional areas after each new implementation.

Your tasks will include both manual and automated testing, where you work with real installations and test fields, but also use simulators to validate results. Since our robotic lawn mowers are controlled via mobile and web apps, you will work closely with other departments to ensure an optimal customer experience. The position also involves traveling to various test areas to collect data and perform tests where grass is grown to mimic real-world usage conditions.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is a curious and methodical person, with a genuine interest in understanding and testing technical solutions. You thrive in a role where you can dive deep into technical details and do not hesitate to defend your test results and analysis. You are communicative, both in speech and writing, and have the ability to clearly convey details and results to both the team and other departments.

As a person, you are a team player and see the value in sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues. You are also open to new ideas and perspectives, which can help improve testing or identify new problem areas. Your technical interest and willingness to develop make you thrive in a dynamic and educational environment.

Requirements for the position:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in software development, embedded development, testing, electrical engineering, or mechatronics
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license (B)
• You reside in the Jönköping area

Preferred qualifications for the position:

• Fluent in Swedish
• Experience in software development
• Experience in test automation
